Time's granularity
diminishes,
as each nodule grows thicker
with blemishes.
This thinning fog now
mimics impotence,
and the dull task of
counting up finishes.

Poems and Prose #163 - Bannerman
Do I want some
unearned victory,
standing atop a pile
of foes who
voluntarily lie prostrate?
I ponder,
sliding my sword
into its sheath
and nodding.

Poems and Prose #162 - Crag
Enhanced by a
bitter-tasting pill,
I stretch my limbs
and prepare to scale the hill.
When I reach the top,
I plan to finally be still,
then,
and not a millisecond until.

and prepare to scale the hill.
When I reach the top,
I plan to finally be still,
then,
and not a millisecond until.
