Poems and Prose #171 - Fingertips

Typing on a touchscreen face,
I mistype and then erase.
I'll make the next one with less haste.

Oops. It seems I've lost my place.
I guess I've made some sort of case.

Poems and Prose #170 - Quillwork

"Shit or
get off the pot,"
the poet uttered,
licking off the last
little bits of
finger butter.

His calves tensed,
and he craned
into a hover,
taking in one
gigantic breath
after another.

Poems and Prose #169 - Rivet

The blight shall
forever stain me,
I mutter to myself
unintelligibly,
some invisible blemish,
to others, clearly seen,
though I accept its status
as a lithe, shape-shifting thing.

This concocted story was
a mesmerizing scene.
Its grotesqueness fixed
my stare, indeed.

Typing Game Idea

I got a nice mechanical gaming keyboard recently after having gone my entire life using generic membrane-switch keyboards of varying levels of quality. With this in front of me, I looked around for some typing games to test it out with and came across a game called Epistory, which is fairly enjoyable. I then began considering working on a typing game of my own that focused more on the actual typing instead of wandering through a story-derived world with some heavy typing bits here and there.

Here is just a test image I cooked up that would serve as the basis of such a game if I ever decided to pick the shovel up and start digging.
